Most reputable cashback platforms have a “missing cashback” form. They will ask for proof that you clicked their link and that the order qualifies. They then ask the merchant. This takes time. It is not instant chat-credit.
What to keep for every cashback order
- Order number, date, and item list.
- Gross amount paid (and currency).
- The offer name and rate you clicked.
- A screenshot of the confirmation page.
A sensible timeline
- Wait until the platform’s minimum pending window (often a few days).
- File the claim with complete proof — incomplete tickets get closed.
- Do not file on excluded items (gift cards, taxes, marketplace third parties) hoping they will not notice.
- If denied, read the reason. “Non-qualifying payment method” is rarely overturned.
