How the math works
Cashback = purchase × (rate / 100). Effective price ≈ purchase − cashback (if it posts).
Example
- Enter the amount you will spend.
- Enter the cashback rate (for example 2 or 10).
- Check the estimated cashback and effective price.
- Read the merchant’s exclusions before you count on the number.
Catch the catches
- Cashback often pending for 30–90 days and can be reversed after returns.
- If a coupon code voids cashback, the “better” deal is the one that still tracks.
Questions
Is estimated cashback guaranteed?
No. It is arithmetic on the rate you enter. Tracking, pending periods, and exclusions can still reduce or reverse the amount.
Are these calculators free?
Yes. They run in your browser. You do not need an account, and we do not require personal financial data to use them.
Should I treat the result as a bank or store quote?
No. Results are educational math. Merchants, lenders, and tax rules can differ. Verify the live terms before you pay.
