The standard challenge saves 1 unit in week 1, 2 in week 2, up to 52. With a $1 base that is $1,378. With a ₹50 base that is ₹68,900. The math is the triangular number 52×53/2, times your base.
Why reverse often works better
Start with 52 units while motivation is high, and finish with 1. The hard weeks are not stacked against holiday spending at year end. Use the 52-Week Savings Calculator, choose “reversed,” and print or save the schedule.
